How therapy with me can help you:

In our work together, I take a compassionate, insight-oriented approach that helps clients explore how past experiences may influence current thoughts and emotions, while also identifying new ways of coping and relating to themselves and others. My goal is to help clients develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience.

I see therapy as a collaborative space for reflection, growth, and healing. My style is warm, genuine, and grounded in curiosity, and I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and experiences that shape your inner world while developing tools to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My work is informed primarily by humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, and solution-focused approaches. I often help clients examine how early relationships and experiences may still influence present thoughts, emotions, and relationships. At the same time, I integrate practical strategies from frameworks such as CBT, including identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns to support meaningful, lasting change.

I enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges, as well as those interested in better understanding how their early experiences shape their current emotions and behaviors. I strive to bring warmth, honesty, and compassion into each session, supporting clients in reconnecting with their strengths and sense of purpose.

About me:

I am a therapist intern pursuing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from East Carolina University, where I developed a deep interest in understanding human behavior, relationships, and emotional development. My integrative approach draws from Person-Centered, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused therapies, blending empathy and insight with actionable strategies for growth.

Outside of my counseling work, I love cooking, traveling, watching nature documentaries, reading, and spending time with friends, family, my Border Terrier, Pepper, and my tabby cat, Oscar.
