At Counseling and Consulting on the Hill, we offer therapy and coaching services to support your mental health, personal growth, and relationship well-being. We work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges. Our care is affirming for LGBTQ+ clients and culturally responsive across a diverse range of backgrounds.

Our clinicians are uniquely trained to work from a relational perspective. Practically speaking, this means we help clients explore the ways their environment (family, friends, coworkers, and society) shapes them, and how interpersonal relationships affect their life. We find this approach helps clients make sense of their challenges and develop an effective path forward, while also taking stock of what is already working and building on existing strengths.

It is our job to listen and help you feel truly heard. Research has shown this is the most important factor in the therapeutic relationship. Our initial sessions are designed to explore family and other relationships, both past and present, helping us build a genuine connection and develop meaningful therapeutic goals. Those goals then serve as a blueprint for the work ahead. Along the way, your therapist may recommend movies, books, articles, or podcasts that explore relevant themes, a tool we find powerful for supporting in-session work and helping clients feel less alone in their experience.
