Talia Zeiger

Talia is a thoughtful and warm therapist pursuing her Master’s degree in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at George Washington University. She is currently under the supervision of Laura Golojuch, LMFT.

Using an integrative approach that utilizes narrative therapy and person-centered therapy, Talia is passionate about hearing client’s life stories. Many clients internalize their problems, meaning that they believe their problems are a part of their personhood. Talia works with clients to help them view their problems as external to themselves and build their confidence in their ability to tackle them.

Talia supports clients by using creativity in tailoring techniques to each client and their unique concerns. When someone is having mental health concerns they often experience tension in their interpersonal relationships. Talia helps clients not only work toward individual growth but also heal through finding harmony in their relationships with others.

In addition, Talia is committed to viewing clients through a multicultural lens. In session, she works to deeply understand and empower her clients. As someone who has a degree in Queer Studies and a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community, she believes that it is essential to understand clients through their intersectional identities and all layers of their worldview.
