Emma Trevenen

Emma is a compassionate and dedicated therapist currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at George Washington University and is currently under the supervision of Susan Driscoll, LMFT. With a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their emotional challenges, Emma brings an integrative approach to therapy that combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a client-centered perspective, and a holistic view of healing.

Working collaboratively with her clients, Emma's approach is centered around their unique needs and aspirations. She recognizes that each individual's journey is distinct and tailors her interventions to align with their personal values and goals. Using a mindfulness-based approach, Emma encourages clients to embrace their emotions and view these emotions as experiences to be explored and understood.

Furthermore, Emma strongly believes in the importance of self-compassion within the therapeutic process. She guides clients in developing a kind and nurturing relationship with themselves, fostering an environment of self-acceptance and understanding. In her journey as a therapist, Emma is not just a guide but a companion, walking alongside her clients as they navigate their paths to mental and emotional well-being.
