Laura Golojuch, PhD, LMFT

Laura Golojuch, PhD, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFT) in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Laura enjoys bridging research, theory, and practice in her work. She is also a clinical supervisor and provides supervision to therapists in training and MFTs working towards licensure.

Laura works with individuals and couples and leans on her systemic training to see people in context. Laura specializes in working with people going through life transitions, and often works with young professionals to navigate stress and relationship issues. Laura is a certified Prepare/ Enrich facilitator and trainer and loves to work with engaged couples wanting to be intentional about building a strong foundation. Laura uses an integrative and strengths-based approach that incorporates solution focus, narrative, DBT, and trauma-informed practices into her sessions. She believes in a collaborative approach to therapy and holds space for clients to build awareness and compassion while meeting their goals.

Laura completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with minors in Studio Art and English at Georgetown University. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a masters in Couple and Family Therapy and a PhD in Family Science. Her dissertation focuses on how couple and family therapists enact social justice practice. Laura is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
