How therapy with me can help you:
As a therapist, I prioritize the client's needs and goals. I strongly believe that you cannot be wrong about your own feelings, and that two contradicting things can be true at the same time. Through self-reflection, connection and curiosity, I work with clients to co-create a previously undiscovered path towards healing for themselves and their community.
A few approaches that I prefer are Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy.
About me:
Originally from New Jersey, I came to Washington D.C. to attend college and received my Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service. After graduation I pursued a career in Human Resources, and eventually found myself drawn to a human-centered approach and became a Product Manager. My interest in systems and the way they impact individuals is what drew me to Economics, Product Management, and now therapy. I am currently a Master's student in Syracuse University's Marriage and Family Therapy program.
I am a proud DC resident, and co-parent to a dog and cat. In my free time I love to cook, read, write poetry, and weightlift.
