How therapy with me can help you:
As a therapist, I prioritize the needs and goals of my clients and take a post-modern approach. Whether working with individuals or couples, I lean on my systemic training and aim to co-create new realities with clients. A few approaches that I prefer are narrative therapy, solutions-focused therapy, the Gottman Method, and structural therapy.
I am a social-justice focused, body positive, LGBTQIA+ allied therapist, dedicated to working with a variety of individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working with clients on issues around anxiety, ADHD, work-life balance, trying to conceive, and pre-marital counseling. I am also certified as a Prepare and Enrich facilitator and completed a Level 1 Gottman training. As an intern, I am dedicated towards learning and developing and enjoy doing this alongside my clients in pursuit of helping them reach their goals.
About me:
Originally from New Jersey, I came to Washington D.C. to attend college and received my Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service. After graduation I pursued a career in Human Resources, and eventually found myself drawn to a human-centered approach and became a Product Manager. My interest in systems and the way they impact individuals is what drew me to Economics, Product Management, and now therapy. I am currently a Master's student in Syracuse University's Marriage and Family Therapy program.
I am a proud DC resident, and co-parent to a dog and cat. In my free time I love to cook, read, write poetry, and weightlift.
